By Road
From the South: Travelling on the A1 North from Wetherby turn off at junction 49 (signposted Thirsk A168 – A19 Teesside).  Continue on the A19 on to the junction with the A174.  At the roundabout take the third exit signposted **A174, Wilton, Redcar.  Follow the map instructions from Greystones roundabout on the A174 to the Visitors Centre as detailed on the attached map.
From the North: Travelling South on the A1(M) from Newcastle towards Scotch Corner, turn off at junction 60 (signposted A689, Sedgefield, Teesside).  Follow the A689 to the junction with the A19 and take the A19 Southbound to the A174 junction as above**
From the West: Take the A66 to Scotch Corner, turn left on to the A1(M) north and rejoin the A66 at junction 57.  Follow the signs to Teesside joining the A19 southbound near Middlesbrough.  Then take the A174 as above**

By Rail
The nearest mainline train station is Darlington (DAR) which is approximately 30 minutes drive from Wilton.  A taxi can be arranged through your host.  London and Edinburgh are around 2½ hours from Darlington on the East Coast line.

By Air 
Teesside Airport is only a 30 minute drive from Wilton.  A taxi can be arranged through your host.  Further flights are available through Newcastle and Leeds Bradford Airports both of which are about an hour and 15 minutes drive from Wilton.
